Why backup...?

You should backup whenever your wanting to save files or any data to be used again in the near future.Depending on how much data your wanting to save and the format they're in there are many options to choose from including CD-R's and DVD-R's(for music and general animation),CD-RW's and DVD-RW's(for music and general animation however you have the ability to delete and re-add files),DVD-RAM(same properties asDVD-RW but with quicker access and easier to overwrite data),Blu-ray(better sound and picture quality than the standarised DVD,can hold 25gb,50gb and 100gb)memory sticks(can store many gb's and are small and easy to transfer data from computer to computer)

Reasons for Backing Storage (class work)

DVD would be used over blu-ray because blu-ray players are more expensive and aren't built into any teacher's laptops. Also blu-ray dvd's aren't as popular as the standard dvd and are quite expensive to buy. However blu-ray dvd's offer higher quality in picture and sound and can store 25,50 and 100GB onto a single disk.

DVD-R's would be used over a DVD-RW disk in case of data being accidently deleted. However DVD-RW's are useful and more appropriate when you're constantly saving and deleting different projects onto the disk.

However the best storage devie would have to be the simple though effective memory stick. These can store mane GB's of data without having to delete items already on it. They're small and loading and copying time is fast.

The masters text box are only for changing style eg. red size 11

Don't use the 'side masters' text box to replicate a word onto every slide. Delete the masters text box and replace it with one of your own.

Remove the bottom three boxes on each side or ignore them as 'slide master' ignores them completley, add a new text box and put the function into it.Don't add the page numbers manually.

Remember main areas of the 'slide master' and just text and colour, everything else is just a guide-you must use your own textbox in an exam

100 words 4 fav. lesson today

My favourite and most interesting lesson today was P.E. because i learnt how to successfully do triple jump. After many fails i sat back and watched others do it and found the technique to be rather simple. Instead of doing the skip i was doing a normal and casual step. After correcting my mistake i landed on the 10.1m mark. It wasn't the best but i felt that i had learnt and accomplished something that lesson that i might be able to take up next year as a main sport or even as something on the side. In previous years i had either failed or had got a estimated mark.
